With each Xpand Portal update, our goal is to improve usability and clarity in response to customer needs and market demands.

- Xpand Portal's latest release, version 4.1.0.0, introduces comment attachments for better communication and collaboration within the portal

We are delighted to introduce enhanced commenting capabilities in Xpand Portal, now allowing front-end users to easily attach images and other files directly to their comments. This feature improves communication by providing visual context and reducing the need for a separate attachments section on portal pages.

Added comment attachments can be displayed in a carousel format or as a list of files. You can preview image files in your browser, while document attachments will be automatically downloaded when you select them.

- Xpand Portal's latest release, version 4.1.0.0, introduces comment synchronization between Xpand Portal and ERP users, enabling tagging.

Xpand Portal users can now exchange comments related to specific entities (such as orders and invoices) directly with ERP system users (e.g., Business Central) through comment synchronization between Xpand Portal and the ERP system. This feature enhances communication between portal users and internal departments, improving transparency and efficiency in handling orders, invoices, and other related tasks.

- Xpand Portal's latest release, version 4.1.0.0, introduces dictionary standardization for improved clarity and consistency

We’ve revamped the dictionary, introducing a series of enhancements:

  • Improved consistency across the dictionary
  • Revised wording in numerous dictionary items to improve clarity
  • Corrected grammatical mistakes and typos
  • Moved select hardcoded values to the dictionary to make them customizable and to provide the ability to translate them into different languages

- Bug fixes and other minor improvements

To access and utilize these new features, we kindly recommend upgrading to version 4.1.0.0 of the Xpand Portal.
